Help Us Unlock the Past - One Photo at a Time!
We’re holding a special photo contest and we need your help to bring the past to life! We're on the hunt for photographs that showcase the spirit and joy of Canada Day celebrations in Camrose - from last year all the way back to the very first Canada Day!
Whether it’s a nostalgic family picnic, a sparkler-filled evening, a cultural performance, or a candid smile from the crowd, your photo could help us rediscover and celebrate our community’s rich Canada Day history.
How to Submit Your Photos
Upload your digital photos below or
Visit the Centennial Museum (Tuesday–Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM) to drop off physical photos and our friendly staff will scan them for you!
When submitting, please include your name and the approximate year the photo was taken so we can properly credit your memory and place it in the right historical context!
Voting is open until June 20th. The Top 10 winning entries will be printed and featured in a special curated exhibition titled: “Canada Day in Camrose” at the Centennial Museum this summer. All other entries will be part of a giant community photo collage—a vibrant mosaic of memories that showcases decades of celebration in Camrose!
Contest closes on June 20, 2025.
